The PMC Physical Therapy department is a very active and dynamic group. They treat patients in their home through PMC Home Health Services. They work with patients who are in the hospital or in swing bed services. They treat residents of the nursing home and out patients as well. By the most basic definition, Physical Therapy works to restore movement and function, relieve pain, and prevent illness and injury. Physical Therapy interventions may be aimed at the prevention of impairments and improving independence in those individuals who are living with functional limitations and disability. Physical Therapy promotes health, quality of life, and fitness for all ages and populations.
