Staff and Services:
Pondera Medical Center's Durable Medical Equpiment (DME) staff is professionally trained, certified and/or licensed. A 24-hour Emergency On-Call service is provided for your comfort and peace of mind. Direct billing of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies is available. Pondera Medical Center's DME department is your locally based company. We are dedicated to improving your quality of life. Oxygen and Respiratory Services: Following a physician's order, DME's oxygen/respiratory staff provides the client with a complete orientation of in-home and portable respiratory services, equipment set-up and proper operating procedures. DME Oxygen/Respiratory Staff: 1. Assess oxygen client's condition on a routine basis, per physicians order, and provide client's physician with a written report. 2. Provide monthly maintenance, testing and cleaning of all oxygen equipment. 3. Deliver and set-up of portable oxygen cylinders as needed. Rehab Equipment and Services: Pondera Medical Center's DME department offers a wide selection of rehab equipment and accessories to meet the client's needs. The DME staff works directly with the client's physician and/or therapists to ensure that the most suitable equipment is supplied.
